This will easily be the most simple crafting project you will ever come across!
It is literally, peel and stick, and that’s it!
This is a great task for:
fine motor, labeling colors, social engagement, requesting, letter recognition, shape recognition, following directions, problem solving and more!
This is a fun activity to be included in an activity wallet!
I bought two items at my local Hobby Lobby.
Hook and Loop (Velcro)
Make sure you buy the sticky dots, not for sewing.
Hobby Lobby has all sorts of Velcro items.
Crafting (Popsicle) Sticks
Hobby Lobby has many different sizes.
The size I purchased for this craft was labeled, “jumbo”.
The jumbo are pictured on the bottom and the super jumbo are pictured at the top.
I prefer the jumbo size but the super jumbo are fun too.
I chose 4 of each color for my building set.
Peel and stick the dots at the ends of each stick.
You may want to place some dots on the center of some of the sticks as well, especially for creating letters.
On 6 of the sticks, I placed dots on both sides to make them more versatile.
You will need this for odd numbered shapes to match up.
That’s it!!!
These are fun for making shapes, letters, and all kinds of structures!
Kids love tearing the sticks apart, hearing that fun Velcro sound!
See, it told you it was easy!
If you aren’t lucky enough to have a Hobby Lobby near you or just prefer to shop online, here are some sources:
